My peak of the week......

It's Wednesday....my peak of the week!! That's what we call our Wednesday night service at WFR.
I love it. Don't get me wrong...I love Sunday Worship too....but Wednesdays are my favorite. It's less formal of course but the teaching is just as good and the singing is phenomenal!! We don't use instruments at my church so you hear everybody singing. I don't sound so good but I try. I'm truly blessed to have such an amazing place to go worship. The church members there are great people. They are what we call our "Forever Family". It never seems to fail if I'm having a struggle with something the preacher always sems to preach on that topic!! God has really blessed me. Well thats all in Matt's world for now. My Sunday......

I'm very tired!! I got called into work Saturday night and had to work till 3 A.M. Fortunately I was able to get up at 8 this morning thanks to my alarm clock. Thanks Mom. Church was awesome this morning as usual. During the Men's Bible class a gentleman stood up and told the class how Jesus had changed his life. Great testimony. Service was great as well. After church I got a call from my Goddaughter who is 8 years old and she stated she was bored an requested I come pick her up and take her to the movies. Took her to see the new Chronicles of Narnia movie as it seemed to be one of the only ones a kid could watch. Good times. Now I'm trying to figure out how I'm gonna stay up all night. I hafta work tomorrow night. Not looking forward to it. But...I have a job. Some people don't and can't find one. So I'm not complaining. Well the Mets and Yankees are having a battle in the Bronx so I'm off. Until next time.

Lsu Baseball

Wow! I just got to watch 5 1/2 hours of LSU Baseball. Pretty awesome huh? I'm glad to report that LSU pulled it out in the bottom of the 15th inning beating UNO 7-6. Not many LSU Baseball games are on t.v. up here in the north part of the state. So I'm thrilled I got to watch this one. Ok...so I'm new to this. We will see how it goes. If I like it then I may continue doing this. If not...enjoy my one and only post. Have a great day!!
